The Tax Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales

The VPG and the ICAEW Tax Faculty have agreed that they will aim to develop a closer working relationship for the mutual benefit of both organisations. It is intended that the VPG and ICAEW will combine efforts in the preparation of responses to selected VAT related consultation documents and will jointly attend meetings with HMRC to address items of concern relating to VAT. As part of the closer working on technical matters, the VPG Technical Secretary (currently Robert Killington) or his substitute is a member of the ICAEW Tax Faculty VAT and Duties sub-committee and the Chairman of the Tax Faculty VAT and Duties sub-committee (currently John Arnold) or his substitute is a co-opted member of the VPG council.
