Welcome to the VAT Practitioners Group web site
Although this website is predominantly designed as a central information resource and virtual meeting point for existing members of the VPG, we welcome potential new members and invite them to browse the areas of our website that are open to them.
The VPG membership is comprised of specialists from the VAT profession, leading law firms, industry, major retailers and commerce. Through its diverse technical sub-committees the VPG can exercise considerable influence upon H M Revenue & Customs, the Judiciary and Government itself.
Members receive regular bulletins, which provide comprehensive information relating to changes in VAT law and interpretation. Additionally, members are able to attend the annual VPG Conference that is widely acknowledged to be the premier indirect taxation conference of the year.
To become a member of the VPG you must spend much of your time working on VAT issues and be prepared to spend one evening per month to attend your Chapter meeting - this will count towards your CPD. If you would like to join the VPG please read the constitution and complete the application form.

The current annual subscription rates are:
